Meet Summer!

Meet our model Summer! You may recognize her from our instagram and website. We sat down with her to find out about school, her career, and her Thai heritage.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE PRODUCTS OF OURS?

I think some of my favorites are the shorts, and my favorite colors are the  Galapagos shorts or the St. Martin pants. And recently I really like the sarongs too. Rose quartz is my favorite healing stone because I love the color pink.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT WORKING WITH US?

I really like the fun atmosphere and the team, getting to work with other models and the different fun shoot locations we get to go to.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OUR MISSION SUPPORTING WOMEN ARTISANS IN THAILAND KNOWING YOU ARE HALF THAI?

I think it's really cool, there's not a lot of brands that work with artisans in Thailand and it's awesome knowing that that's part of my culture and that it directly benefits the Thai people making the brand stand out from others.

WHAT WAYS DO YOU HONOR YOUR THAI CULTURE AT HOME?

The food is a big part of my mom's culture and we definitely eat a lot of Thai food at home. A lot of traditional Thai dishes. My favorites are either pad Thai, or fried rice, I really like Tom Kah soup as well.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?

I'm a full-time student right now, studying business marketing. I graduate in a couple weeks. I'm on the school's golf team so I spend a lot of time golfing. And besides that I like to travel and spend time with friends.

WHERE HAVE YOU TRAVELED TO?

Before Covid my mom has a lot of family in Thailand so we would go visit them there. But since Covid I've just been traveling around the United States more.

WHAT ARE YOU HOPING TO DO WHEN YOU GRADUATE?

When I graduate I'm moving to Los Angeles and modeling full-time, and then after that I hope to do something with marketing in the sports industry. I'm from Portland and that's where Nike is from so it's always been a dream of mine to work for Nike.
